Finally found out what underlying issue has been causing me to gain weight for a few years despite a 700-900 calorie a day diet and exercise.
My thyroid is stuffed, it is close to kicking the bucket and it’s taken me YEARS to have a doctor test my thyroid function when honestly, it should have been done regularly because of my diabetes. Neither my usual doctor of my specialist were concerned about the weight gain and my BMI was 28! So despite lots of pestering nothing was being done, so instead I went to my dads GP and now I know exactly what my problem has been. Thank god!

The world has lost an iconic and much loved singer, songwriter, actor and altogether brilliant artist.
I was shocked and very upset when I heard about his death this afternoon after his battle with lung cancer. So many people remember him mainly as Jareth the Goblin King from Labyrinth, but I will always remember him for more than that.
